Special Events
Moon Area is hosting a Boys Basketball Showcase event on Sunday, Feb 23 at their middle school and high school facilities. This is open to all private or public school teams grades 3 thru 6 for both A and B teams. This is not an AAU or travel team event. Each team will play 2 games on Feb 23 - this is not a tournament style event. The purpose is for teams to get extra games at the end of the season against teams not in their respective leagues. 7th Annual Holy Cross Academy Boys and Girls Developmental Tournaments - February 20-February 23 for GIRLS and February 27-March 2 for BOYS; We will have a separate 3rd grade only and 4th (or combined 3rd/4th) division with a maximum of 12 teams for each weekend. Two games guaranteed. Games will be held at Holy Cross gym (307 Siebert Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237); Cost is $150 with t-shirts for all participants; Diocesan teams will have first opportunity to participate unless we don't get enough teams; Fill out the FORM to guarantee your spot; For more information see the FLYER or contact Sheila Duffy (athletics@holycrossacademypgh.org) |
Our Lady of Fatima 41st Annual William L. Basketball Stars of America, the AAU leader in Western PA, will be holding its 2025 Spring AAU Basketball Tryouts for Boys and Girls in 1st to 12th Grade throughout January, February and March at locations in Wexford, Gibsonia, Canonsburg, Bethel Park, Robinson Township and Monroeville, as well as in Beaver County; Spring In House Leagues as well as Weeknight and Weekend Skills Basketball Programs are also offered! Workouts
Basketball Skills Training - If your son or daughter wants to improve his/her basketball skills, I can help them reach their goals. I have over 25 years of basketball coaching experience in addition to approximately 10 years of experience in individual and small group basketball training.
